Old Forge Crossing is a condominium community located in Devon, Pennsylvania, situated on a site with rich history dating back to the pre-Revolutionary War period. The land was originally part of William Penn's "Greene Countrie Village" land grant. In later years, the property was a working farm, eventually being sold in 1966 to a developer who constructed the garden-style apartments. The Old Forge Crossing Condominium Association was formed in 1981.
The community comprises 31 buildings with one- and two-story units, surrounding the original historic mansion, which now serves as the administrative office and clubhouse. Unit types include 1- and 2-bedroom condos, as well as two floor 2 bedroom two bath townhomes. Many units feature updated kitchens and bathrooms, in-unit laundry, and balconies.
Residents of Old Forge Crossing enjoy a variety of amenities. The community has a large swimming pool, tennis courts, a pond, and walking paths throughout the 40+ acre property. A significant benefit is the private, gated access to the Chester Valley Trail, perfect for walking, jogging, and biking. The community clubhouse and barn can be reserved for private parties and community events.
Old Forge Crossing is conveniently located near major roadways, including Route 202, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and the Schuylkill Expressway, offering easy access to the Devon train station, commercial office complexes, the King of Prussia Mall, and Philadelphia International Airport. Nearby are also shopping centers, restaurants, and Valley Forge National Park.
